Prayer Meeting

Since 2006 families from Wales were a part of the St. Marys Indian orthodox church in Bristol. In 2008 at the general body meeting a request was put forward for a prayer group to be formed in Wales. This wish was granted and the St. Thomas prayer group was formed. At the start it consisted of only 6 families by 2009 it was 15.Our increase in number meant that we were granted a Qurbana once a month in Swansea. The prayer meetings were set to every third Saturday. The prayer meeting consisted of Bible readings, songs and prayers.The Holy Innocents Indian Orthodox church has two prayer groups. The St. David’s Prayer group (Cardiff) and The St Thomas Prayer group (Swansea).Prayer meeting announcements are said after every Qurbana.
